Most people find that teaming up with others is the key to their successful career development!
Do you realize that most opportunities (jobs) are found through networking? That's right, simply talking with others - Forbes magazine puts this stat at 84%! Not Internet job boards, not waiting for a company to post a position, but by you being pro-active and making the connections yourself.
Many individuals attribute their landing a great job to Coach Kevin's career transition focused workshops and his associations with various job seeker networking groups.
Gilbert and Mesa, Arizona - Job Seekers AZ (http://www.jobseekersaz.com) Gilbert group focuses on mid-level professionals and executives, while the Mesa group focuses on entry-level and the trades. Each group meets bi-monthly for networking with other job seekers and for meeting employers face-to-face. Job Seekers AZ also has an active LinkedIn group with over 500 members! This group focuses on discovering, developing and deploying your career through knowing your gifts, having the right tools (an industry specific resume, the latest interviewing techniques, and knowing how to work with recruiters).
Columbus, Ohio - Scioto Ridge Job Networking Group (http://www.srjng.com). This group was "birthed" out of a single local church and now meets in eight locations in the greater Columbus area with over 1,100 members! With 10 meetings each month, one can expect great networking, relevant guest speakers and various sponsors to help in your job search. Also, check out their LinkedIn group.

With a weekly networking group, they are a great resource for those in transition.
Work Ministry is an online community. This is a faith-based social network with thousands of groups across the country.
Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois has a great ministry to those seeking to find employment or those seeking direction for their work in the marketplace.
