Gilbert and Mesa, Arizona - Job Seekers AZ (http://www.jobseekersaz.com) Gilbert group focuses on mid-level professionals and executives, while the Mesa group focuses on entry-level and the trades. Each group meets bi-monthly for networking with other job seekers and for meeting employers face-to-face. Job Seekers AZ also has an active LinkedIn group with over 500 members! This group focuses on discovering, developing and deploying your career through knowing your gifts, having the right tools (an industry specific resume, the latest interviewing techniques, and knowing how to work with recruiters).

Columbus, Ohio - Scioto Ridge Job Networking Group (http://www.srjng.com). Columbus, Ohio - 40 Plus of Central Ohio (http://www.fortyplusoh.org/) is a nonprofit 501(c)3, member operated, job search training organization for experienced professionals of all ages who are actively seeking better career opportunities. At 40 Plus they like to say, "An effective job search takes 40 plus hours per week" of one's focused time and effort. With a weekly networking group, they are a great resource for those in transition.

Work Ministry is an online community. This is a faith-based social network with thousands of groups across the country.

Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois has a great ministry to those seeking to find employment or those seeking direction for their work in the marketplace.

Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California has a Career Coaching and Counseling Ministry that has on-going classes to help with all aspects of job transition.

Central Christian Church in Mesa, Arizona has partnered with Best Places to Work AZ (http://www.bestcompaniesaz.com), to help the community with their job transitions.
